"The Red Witches"
Like all of the children of The Dragon Arkruz, these two identical sisters both share fiery red hair and tempers to match. Serena is a Vil'Mithridite (in Draconic; translated to Tradespeak, literally means "dragon lord" - or in this case, lady) and one of the numerous nobles of The City of Arkruz, named after her father. Serena is one of the most influential voices among those who rule the city in the absence of The Dragon Arkruz.

Aria is also a Vil'Mithridite, although while her sister is clearly the better diplomat, Aria's temper has gotten the better of her on several occasions, during which her draconic heritage is frighteningly obvious. She is a well regarded scholar, capable Savant, and even skilled with quintessence, being one of the few elementalists who embraces the dangerous study of the first element.

Visuals used in The 6 Elements, both at the gaming table and this web site, help to set the tone and feel of the world, giving locations and personalities life beyond a simple description. The artists on this page are the most influential for this campaign, having in many cases inspired both the design of the web site as well as the campaign itself. This page is my attempt to acknowledge those artists who, in most cases, unknowingly have become a part of our campaign and even an extension of our gaming group.

Whether to include these pieces of art on the web site for more than just our gaming group to have access to is always a struggle, as I understand and respect an artist's position in wanting to control their work. My hope is that any artists seeing their work used on this site will understand that it is our intent to honor their work, not profit from it. I do not receive any compensation from The 6 Elements website and as no effort is made to generate any revenue from either the art or this site, my hope is that any artist who may visit and find their work used on this site realizes we are doing so in an attempt to share as much of our tabletop experience as possible with visitors. The links here are for visitors to continue on to the artists' sites and perhaps find inspiration for their own adventures as well.

Claudio Pozas

Official Website | Fiery Dragon

Claudio Pozas is an artist from Brazil who has made many of the Fiery Dragon products come alive and illustrates their Counter Collections, which are properly scaled counters of the core Dungeons & Dragons creatures as well as dozens of personalities of his own creation. These counters are the most useful gaming aid I have purchased and I have and will continue to buy any of the collections or adventures sight-unseen as long as they have the counters with Claudio’s artwork on them. His illustrations of Roman Legionnaire Hobgoblins inspired the creation of the island of Hoblinth and his character portraits are used for many of the NPCs of the campaign at the gaming table: I print illustrated NPC cards with the appropriate picture, physical description, and name as well as create counters for nearly every counter with Claudio's work. Claudio Pozas' love of gaming and his skill as an illustrator is obvious in these products as well as his website, and I am certain that his success with Fiery Dragon will continue and grow. I've had the good fortune to meet him in person and he is very friendly and personable: definitely a pleasure to speak with.

Richard Sardinha

Official Website

Richard is an artist who has been creating work for various D&D products and The Wheel of Time RPG, including some distinctive illustrations of dragons for The Draconomicon. However, what really caught my eye was the variety of fantasy landscapes and locations he has created, which helped inspire many of the locations of The 6 Elements campaign (as well as several from The Falconmoor Campaign). Quite a few of his works feature either water or dry/desert themes, both of which work great for this campaign (being a very tropical, island based environment) and the feel of the campaign would not have evolved nearly as well without his inspiration.

Kalman Andrasofszky

Official Website

Within the last couple of years, Kalman has become a frequent contributor to Dungeon as well as created the "comic book" style illustrations for Eberron, creating a very distinctive atmosphere for that setting unlike any of the other D&D worlds. His artwork typically conveys a sense of action and motion that many other artists are not able to replicate, making his style unique and painting a series of events rather than a static scene. Kalman also creates numerous "head shots" for Dungeon adventures, including dozens of NPCs for the Shackled City series of adventures. I'm consistently impressed by his work and find his illustrations great for NPCs in particular.
